Dr. Virendra Swarup Polytechnic (VSP) offers diploma in Mechanical, Civi & Electrical Engineering to meet the growing needs of skilled manpower in diverse industrics. The polytechnic complements the Engineering College of VSGOI and lays emphasis on a blend of learning with extensive practice.

The 3 years program leads to a diploma in Civil Engineering. The workshops/laboratories are equipped with latest equipments for all segments of study. High end facilities are also provided to students. The polytechnic is equipped with survey lab., soil lab., material testing lab., applied mechanics lab., hydraulics lab., concrete lab., leveling lab. etc.
Mechanical Engineering department imparts training and knowledge in the field of Mechanical technology to match with the Industry Expectations. The department is well equipped with heat engine lab in which during experiments like load test, heat balance test, retardation test, etc. on different engines such as Single cylinder vertical 4 stroke diesel Engine, Single cylinder 2 stroke diesel engine, twin cylinder 4 stroke engine, Ruston, horizontal diesel engine, twin cylinder air compressor & Viscometer. The department is also having servicing and maintenance lab for training and maintenance of engines, gear box, clutches, breake systems, differential and reciprocating pump.
The diploma course prepares students to deal with the appliction of electricity, electronics and electromagnetism. The syllabus also covers a range of sub topics including prower, electronics, control systems, signal processing and tele communications. Special attention is given for parctical exprsure of students. All labs have latest equipments.
