Engineering the future of the nation by transforming the students to be skilled technocrats, innovative leaders and environmentally receptive citizens. The Vision of the department is to carve the youth as dynamic, competent, valued and knowledgeable professionals who shall lead the Nation towards a better future.
Mechanical Engineering is the profession related to the study and use of machines. A machine transforms, transmits, or uses Make engines, machines. Create new materials use energy, force or motion for a specific purpose.
Capable communicator willing to do hands-on work, Affinity for machines, Strong interest in maths and science, Innovative problem solver.
The Department of Mechanical Engineering came into its existence right from the inception of the Dr. Virendra Swarup Group of Institution served as catering department to other disciplines. The discipline of Mechanical Engineering started offering undergraduate program leading to four year Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) Degree in Mechanical Engineering in the year 2010 and Polytechnic in Mechanical Engineering (Production) in the year 2013. The department has brought out graduates, postgraduates and Ph.D.s who have excelled in every field; they have gone to and have brought laurels to the college.
The department has the following well-equipped laboratories enriching the technical knowledge of the students:
